The story of Nicola, a man who devotes his life to a unique piece of art over the last 40 years. Passion leads to a careful and accurate vision on what you want to achieve, but spontaneity can make you unaware. The artist, who does not identify himself as such, describe his artwork as an most ordinary activity you can spend time with.

The aim is to tell the story of a man who collects waste materials, stones and everyday things and decontextualize them, turning them into an immersive piece of art that changes every single day: a backyard that develops vertically behind his house. Nicola, called “Valtellina’s Gaudì” by the people, defines this just as “his own hobby”.
